Niskayuna to host 2012 NYS Scholastic Rowing Association Section II Championships | Parents & kids

The 2012 New York State Scholastic Rowing Association Section II Championships will take place on the Mohawk River and will be hosted by Niskayuna and Friends of Niskayuna Rowing this weekend.

According to a statement, more than 1,000 rowers from around the region will come May 5 through May 6 for NYS Scholastic Rowing Association Section II Championships.

The championships will take place on the Mohawk River near the Rexford Bridge and racing will take place between 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

Parking will be available at the Jewish Community Center of Schenectady on Balltown Road and there will be a shuttle bus taking people to the spectator area.
