Man living in Schenectady arrested, wanted out of Florida | News

GLENVILLE - A man wanted on a felony warrant out of Florida was arrested Wednesday afternoon.

Glenville police said they arrested 18-year-old Joshua J. Toomer who was originally charged with distribution of cocaine within 500 feet of a school and possession of cocaine in Hillsborough County in Florida. Police said Toomer was living in Schenectady.

Police said that Toomer was identified as a passenger in a car that was stopped for a simple traffic violation.

He was sent to Schenectady County Jail and is waiting for extradition arrangements from Hillsborough County.
